Prevent Blindness Oklahoma is the state’s leading volunteer eye health and safety organization, established in 1965. We are beginning our 50th year of providing vision screenings to children in all 77 counties of Oklahoma. Vision screening is an efficient and cost-effective method to identify children with visual impairment or eye conditions that are likely to lead to visual impairment so that a referral can be made to an appropriate eye care professional for further evaluation and treatment.
Prevent Blindness Oklahoma is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our non-profit organization as a Vision Screener that resides in the surrounding areas ofPauls Valley and Ardmore.
$9.00 per hour plus drive time and mileage at the current IRS mileage reimbursement rate.
All training materials, equipment, uniforms, and cell phone stipend provided.
Part time 3-4 days a week, with summer and school holidays off!
Requirements:
Reliable transportation.
Basic computer skills
Type 15-25 wpm
Preferred experience:
Previous work with children.
