Wednesday, April 12, 2023 | 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Event Location: Hedrick Building, 211 Friday Center Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27517
*Past the Friday Center, free parking is available

How do I qualify?
RN New Graduate Nurse
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelors degree with a major in Nursing or a Masters degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date. Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina by the day of clinical care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
RN Clinical Nurse II
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelors degree with a major in Nursing or a Masters degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- One (1) year of nursing experience.
RN Clinical Nurse III
- Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
- If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled in an accredited program within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelors degree with a major in Nursing or a Masters degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- Professional certification relevant to the practice area and on the ANCC Magnet approved list within the probationary period of employment.
- One (1) year of nursing experience.
RN Clinical Nurse IV
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- Professional certification relevant to the practice area and on the ANCC Magnet approved list within the probationary period of employment.
- Eighteen (18) months of professional nursing experience in a tertiary care setting to include didactic and clinical experience in the area of assignment preferably with charge and precepting experience in the area of assignment.
Clinical Support Tech I
- High School diploma or GED
- Listed as Nurse Aide I Registry with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and six (6) months of related nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Must be fluent in verbal and written English language. Capability to develop computer skills if not competent.
Clinical Support Tech II
- High School diploma or GED
- Listed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and six (6) months of related nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Must be fluent in verbal and written English language. Capability to develop computer skills if not competent.
Nursing Assistant I
- High School diploma or GED
- Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- Six (6) months of relevant nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course
- Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
- Fluent in verbal and written English language and able to develop basic computer skills.
Nursing Assistant II
- High School diploma or GED
- Listed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and six (6) months of related nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Must be fluent in verbal and written English language. Capability to develop computer skills if not competent.
