HFNA’s client, a small group of privately owned and managed skilled nursing homes, has an immediate need for a highly skilled restorative nurse (RN or LPN) in the city of Champaign, IL. Viable candidates must be a United States or current green card holder.

Qualifications

Minimally qualified applicants absolutely must meet the following qualification requirements:

Must be certified Restorative Nurse in IL.

Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level in which they are currently functioning.

Must be able to play a crucial role in overseeing treatment and ensuring all patients receive the highest standard of care.

Must be able to use preventive measures to ensure quality of life and to maintain functional levels.

Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.

Must have graduated from an approved nursing program.

Minimum of 1 year of full-time direct service delivery experience.

Must possess medical assessment and treatment skills with diverse populations of children/adolescents.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be on-call evenings and weekends.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing or LPN
